Microsoft Outlook Setup
Set up your email in Outlook on Windows or Mac.

Open Outlook
Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.

Add account
Go to File → Add Account (Windows) or Outlook → Preferences → Accounts → + (Mac).
Enter your full email address and click Connect.

Select IMAP
If Outlook doesn't auto-detect the settings, click "Let me set up my account manually".
Select IMAP as the account type.
Outlook may try to configure as Exchange. Make sure to select IMAP.

Incoming mail settings

Outgoing mail settings

Enter your password
Enter your email password when prompted.
Click Connect or Done.

Verify
Outlook will test the connection. If successful, your inbox will appear.
Send a test email to verify sending works.

Trouble sending? Try the alternative SMTP port
If port 465 is blocked by your network (some corporate or hotel Wi-Fi networks block it), use these alternative outgoing settings:
Alternative: Port 587 with STARTTLS security and PLAIN authentication. All other settings remain the same.
