iPhone / iPad Setup

Set up your email in the built-in Mail app on iOS.

1

Open Settings

Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

2

Navigate to Mail

Tap Mail (or "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" on older iOS versions).

Tap Accounts, then tap Add Account.

3

Select "Other"

Do NOT select Google, Yahoo, or Outlook. Instead, scroll down and tap Other.

Tap Add Mail Account.

4

Enter your account details

Name Your display name
Email [email protected]
Password Your email password
Description Any label (e.g. Work Email)
5

Select IMAP

Make sure IMAP is selected at the top (not POP).

Tap Account → Advanced.

Set the following under Incoming Settings:

Use SSL ON
Server Port 993
9

SMTP settings

Go back and tap SMTP → tap the primary server.

Use SSL ON
Server Port 465

10

Done!

Tap Done. Your email will start syncing.

Send a test email to yourself to verify everything works.

11

Trouble sending? Try the alternative SMTP port

If port 465 is blocked by your network (some corporate or hotel Wi-Fi networks block it), use these alternative outgoing settings:

Alternative: Port 587 with STARTTLS security and PLAIN authentication. All other settings remain the same.
Port 587
Security STARTTLS
Authentication PLAIN

You're all set!

Send a test email to make sure everything is working.
